Company Information

digilab

The Digilab is a company founded in 2001 and has immediately directed his core business hardware support in the computing world, in particular in the repair and manufacture of printed circuit boards from the realization of the wiring diagram to its industrialization.
Over the years it has invested in equipment and machinery for BGA Rework, SMD, THT and all the tools you need the most important electrical and electronic measurements, in addition to accumulate experience in the various both analog and digital electronics.

The Digilab also make cards based on microprocessor Atmel ATTiny, ATMega, Xmega series, or Intel 8051 series controllers and CPLD/FPGA Xilinx series.
The realization of our projects begins with the design of the wiring diagram, the realization of the PCB, firmware development, prototype fabrications and all its tests necessary to validate and industrialize the finished product.
Our achievements can interface with all popular and advanced communications systems like Rs232, Rs485, Ethernet, Wifi, GSM, GPRS, SMS, HTTP, Bluetooth, USB, SD, data storage in the Cloud, etc.

Latest Project

Our commitment in the testing sector was born to provide a certification attesting the quality of the product, a technical documentation that proves the passing of numerous tests, the guarantee of a technically advanced product that responds to a market that today requires more and more products with high characteristics.
To meet this need we have designed and built a real test bench that by connecting Input and Output to our power supply allows you to diagnose with more than 10 specific tests, the quality of the product, the veracity of the declared powers as well as the most common energy efficiency tests (80Plus).
The system is equipped with 15 ADC (conversion and measurement modules of analog values, voltages and currents) with a precision of 12bit, the board allows to perform up to 4 measurements in the same type, voltages, currents, offsets, etc., which in real time are then collected and processed through algorithms and correction filters, and then finally report the final result in an easy-to-read chart even by less experienced users.
Another not less important element of the acquisition card is the Load board, this always managed by a microprocessor, allows to set the load simulating the connection to the PC, can manage up to four independent channels and manage a programmable load from low powers up to over 2700W overall.
Last but not least is the Power Analyzer which, in interaction with the two previous elements, has the function of analyzing and carrying out all the necessary measurements to obtain as a final result three types of tests related to energy efficiency and power factor in all conditions load, information necessary to classify the quality of a power supply and where present the efficiency of active or passive PFC.
All sample tests are manually measured redundantly with additional high-precision instrumentation such as, Voltmeter, Digital Oscilloscope, Power Analyzer.
Once all the tests have been carried out using one of our algorithms, we provide an evaluation of EvalP (Evalutation Performance) from 1 to 100, which will take into account the actual power and energy efficiency, as well as all other measurements that are important in their context.
In addition to a numeric score the quality is represented by a colored sticker that summarizes the performance with 7 colors from the best BLACK to switch to RED, BLUE, YELLOW, GREEN, ORANGE to the worst performance of WHITE color
The description of each individual test can be found on the relevant page in the "tests" section.
